Scheduled Overhaul Has Been Performed at Noyabrsk CCPP

Scheduled overhaul of the main equipment has been performed on the first power generating unit of Noyabrsk CCPP.  

In the course of work the gas turbine was opened, the moving blades of stages 1, 2 and 3, seals of stage 1 and bearings were replaced. The scope of work on the steam turbine included opening of the cylinder, roll-out of the rotor, inspection of the turbine steam distribution system. The works on HRSG no.1 included measurement of the heating surface wall thickness and identification of critical areas, repair of the shutoff, safety and control valves. After the performance of scheduled repair work the main and auxiliary equipment was reassembled, commissioning and testing was carried out. Power generating unit No. 1 was successfully put into operation.

The overhaul works were performed by the personnel of JSC Intertechelectro. Technical supervision over the gas turbine repair and acceptance tests was carried out with the support of the GE representatives.

Noyabrsk CCPP was put into operation in 2010. The installed electric power of the power plant makes 124 MW, the thermal power amounts to 95 Gcal/h. Commissioning of Noyabrsk CCPP allowed for partial elimination of the electric power shortage in the Noyabrsk energy system and considerable improvement of the electric power supply reliability for the Noyabrsk consumers. The power plant construction project was implemented by “Intertechelectro - New Generation”. Based on the annual rating "Generating companies: efficiency of the generating equipment performance ", carried out by the Market Council to evaluate the performance of more than 400 power plants, LLC "Noyabrsk CCPP" has been recognized as the best company in Russia for four years in a row.
