Kurgan CHP-2 has obtained a certificate of readiness for operation during the 2013-2014 autumn-winter seasons. The document was handed to Narkis Galiaskarov, the power plant Executive Director, by Vasiliy Zharov, Deputy Governor and Director of the Department for Industry, Transport, Communications and Energy in the Kurgan region

The Certificate was issued on the strength of the CHP-3 inspection report, drawn up by a board of 13 members, representing different entities. The State experts and representatives of regulatory authorities analyzed the power generating equipment condition, compliance with the occupational health and safety requirements, equipment inspection deadlines, as well as the heating main readiness and a number of other parameters.

Based on the integrated inspection results the regulatory and supervisory authority officials came to the conclusion that Kurgan CHP-2 had complied with the requirements, providing for trouble–free operation and stable delivery of electrical and thermal energy to the consumers of the Trans-Urals area during the 2013-2014 autumn-winter seasons.
