New generation turbo-generator is installed at Noyabrsk CCGT power plant

The 25 MW TTK-25 turbo-generator erection has been completed in the main building of the Noyabrsk CCGT power plant (Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district). The Noyabrsk CCGT power plant has become the first power facility in Russia where such a turbo-generator was installed.
The TTK-25 series turbo-generators are manufactured by the LLC «Electrotyazhmash – Privod». They have a radically new configuration differing from existing analogs by lower weight and dimensions. The TTK-25 turbo-generator stator is assembled using a unique technology that has no countertypes in the world. The generator efficiency exceeds the GOST values. This turbo-generator complies with all the modern environmental requirements. Noise level of the machine was decreased to 80 dB what is considerably lower in comparison with similar devices. At present the second turbo-generator of this type is being erected at the Noyabrsk CCGT power plant.
The Noyabrsk CCGT power plant is one of the most innovative facilities of such kind in Russia. The power units comprise the 42 MW General Electric PG6581 gas turbine, HRSG produced by OJSC «ZIO-Podolsk» and 20 MW steam turbine (OJSC «Kaluga turbine plant»). The Noyabrsk CCGT power plant gas turbines are designed with specific weather conditions of the Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district considered. The equipment can stand temperature differences from - 60 to +30 С. The plant has also the Siemens SF6 ISG (SF6 integrated switchgear) installed. The SF6 ISG application instead of the open switchgear permits to increase reliability, prolong operating age and diminish maintenance amount.
The Noyabrsk CCGT power plant is constructed by the «Intertechelectro-New generation» group of companies. The station installed electric capacity is 124 MW, the thermal one being 90 Gcal/h. The power plant constitutes the first stage of implementation of the “Industrial Urals-Polar Urals” Project power unit. This power plant is an entity of wholesale electricity market and is included into the summary forecasted balance of electric power generation and supply within the framework of UES of Russia.
