The «Intertechelectro-New Generation» Group of Companies won in the National EPCM Awards 2007, nomination «Breakthrough of the Year»

The success achieved by the «Intertechelectro-New Generation» Group of Companies in implementation of the EPC projects for generating facilities construction stipulated the company winning in the National EPCM Awards 2007, Nomination: «Breakthrough of the Year: the Most Promising EPC/EPCM Company».

The ceremony of conferment of the National EPCM Awards 2007 prize winners in the field of engineering and project management was held on March 21, 2008 within the framework of the «Investment Projects Management: Solutions for the Customers and EPC/EPCM -companies arranged by the Systems of Management company». EPCM Awards 2007 is granted in the following nominations: «Best EPC/EPCM Company in Energy Sector», «Best EPC/EPCM Russian Company on foreign markets», «Best EPC/EPCM Company in Oil and Gas Industry», «Person of the Year», «Effective Management by EPC/EPCM Company», «Effective Management by Customer» and «Grand Prix: EPC/EPCM-Company of the Year»

«Intertechelectro» was nominated for the «Breakthrough of the Year» award since its dynamics in 2007 in the sphere of EPC/EPCM projects implementation was the best. And the Group became the winning awardee of the nomination.

In 2007 the Company began to realize the EPC-projects on construction of Noyabrsk Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant (YANAD) and Kurgan CHPP-2. It’s a reminder that at the ceremony devoted to the commencement of зlant construction in Yamal Minister of Industry and Energy Victor Christenko called this event as «noyabrsk mini-revolution». Anatoliy Chubais- Head of RAO UES of Russia estimated the construction of Kurgan CHPP-2 as «transition to the other perspective, other dynamics».

Last year the«Intertechelectro-New Generation» Group of Companies launched to realize a number of projects as EPC-contractor: construction of gas turbine with 315 MW for JSC «OC «Rosneft» in Priobsk oilfield, CCGTPU with 110 MW in Vologda CHPP for JSC «TGC-2» and construction of Combined Cycle Power Unit with 230 MW at Chelyabinsk CHPP-3 for JSC «TGC-10».

Last year witnessed the realization of thee projects where the Company acted as technical agent: at Tomsk SDPP-2, Ivanovo CHPP-2, Igumnovsk CHPP.

In 2007 «Intertechelectro-New Generation» developed the own new projects: construction of Nizhnevartovsk GT CHPP, Chanty-Mansiysk CCGTPP, Tuymen CHPP-3. In addition to, the Company begun the construction of a number of electrical grid facilities for JSC «Udmurtenergo», JSC «Tyumenenergo», JSC «Sverdlovenergo».
