Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy visited Kurgan HPP-2

Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Ural Federal District Yevgeny Kuyvashev visited the construction site of Kurgan HPP-2.

During the Plant tour the presidential Envoy inspected the power house and the plant main equipment. Yevgeny Kuyvashev listened to the report, delivered by Executive Director of Kurgan HPP-2 Narkis Galiaskarov on the Plant preparation for commissioning.

To date the main equipment of Kurgan HPP-2 has been installed and commissioning work is in progress. The gas and water pipelines, as well as the water treatment plant have been installed. Finishing works and installation of the instrumentation, auxiliary electrical equipment, ventilation and other utility systems are underway in the power house. Construction of buildings for the gas treatment station and the circulation pumping station has been completed; the relevant equipment has been installed. Installation of the 110kV outdoor switchgear, power transformers and the relay room equipment has been completed. Preparatory work for energization of the 110kV outdoor switchgear is underway. Construction of the heating main has been completed.

During his tour of the region Yevgeny Kuyvashev visited a number of other projects under construction, including a swimming pool and a perinatal center.
