Construction of a 100MW CCPP is underway at the Vologda HPP

To date the generator stator of the 35MW steam turbine, made by the Kaluga Turbine Works, has been installed on the foundation. The gas booster compressor has been put in place, construction of the compressor building with the support modules has been completed. Installation of the mechanical-draft cooling tower has begun; construction of the pumping station building for the CCPU circulating pumps is underway. The HRSG flu gas duct has been erected.
Installation of the state-of-the-art 75MW PG 6111FA gas turbine unit, made by General Electric, and the external section of the inlet air filter unit is nearing completion in the power house. Installation of the heat recovery steam generator, made by Austrian Energy & Environment, is in progress. Room preparation for the installation of electrical equipment and the automated process control system, which is based on the latest Siemens SPPA T3000 hard- and software, is underway. The equipment delivery to the site is scheduled for late May.
The 110kV outdoor switchgear and the generator transformers will be delivered to the site as early as March and the installation work will begin.
In October 2012 “Intertechelectro” intends to fire the gas turbine. The CCPP startup is scheduled for late 2012.
