Second autotransformer has been delivered to JSC FSK EES 220 kV Rayonnaya substation (Vladimir)
04 April 2011
JSC Intertechelectro is continuing reconstruction and technical upgrade of the 220 kV Rayonnaya substation (town of Vladimir). The recovery is performed under the JSC FSK EES investment program. The second autotransformer has been delivered to the site.
The 160 ton equipment has been shipped form the factory and delivered by railway to the station of Yur’evets. The transformer has been transported to the substation by road transport using a special platform.
The 125 MVA ATDCTN-125000/220/110-U1 autotransformer has been manufactured by JSC HK «Elektrozavod». As compared to existing counterparts, it has smaller weight and reduced electric losses as well as extended service life. Earlier the first transformer of such kind was delivered to the site.
For the present moment the SF6 110 kV complete switchgear building line has been constructed, 220 kV complete switchgear building cladding is in progress, 220 and 110 kV cells are being delivered to the site, 10 kV closed switchgear building is being erected while the 6kV closed switchgear structural steel was assembled, oil collector was built, oil draining is being constructed, the lodge construction came to an end.
The 220 kV Rayonnaya will be the 1st close facility of the Vladimir power system. Its advantages as compared to traditional open substations are compactness, environmental and fire safety, noiselessness and equipment protection from external influence. The reconstruction involves installation of new 220/110 kV autotransformers and 220 and 110 kV complete switchgears. The substation will be equipped with up-to-date relay protection and automatic equipment MPUs, DCS and a set of modern communication systems. After the recovery the substation output will be 460 MVA. The reconstruction is done under the JSC FSK EES investment program.
The 220 kV Rayonnaya substation having installed capacity of 346,5 MVA was put in operation in 1963 and is serviced by MES of Center, branch of OJSC FSK UES. The plant is one of the main power supply sources for the town of Vladimir consumers including such large factories as OSJC Vladimir electric motor plant and OJSC Vladimir tractor plant
