Noyabrsk CCGT PP 3rd power unit construction is possible

The meeting on reforming of the Noyabrsk housing complex under the chairmanship of Dmitry Kobylkin, YNAD governor, involved discussion of prospects of construction of the Noyabrsk CCGT PP 3rd unit. Stanislav Karapetyan, General director of LLC Intertechelectro-New Generation, made a report upon the matter.

The Noyabrsk plant extension is caused by a current power deficit in the Tarko-Sale-Noyabrsk service area. As Stanislav Karapetyan said, the Intertechelectro-New Generation group of companies is reviewing a possibility to build the Noyabrsk CCGT PP 3rd unit involving maximum usage of the existing site and gas and power supply diagrams. The current plant utilities permit to extend it by a 110 MW power unit. The Noyabrsk CCGT PP was put in operation on November 19, 2010. The station installed electric capacity is 122.6 MW, the thermal one being 95 Gcal/h.

The Noyabrsk CCGT power plant is one of the most innovative facilities of such kind in Russia and the only generation facility in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district having such performance. It was fully constructed by the Intertechelectro-New Generation group of companies. Putting the station in operation allowed decreasing electric energy deficit in the Noyabrsk power node and satisfied growing demand on electric power from the region oil and gas companies and provided reliability of heat and energy supply for the Noyabrsk consumers.
