CJSC Intertechelectro is going on to build the Vologda HPP 110 MW/75 Gcal/h CCGT power unit. OJSC Regional generating company #2 is the customer.

The main building frame steel structures have been installed. Their overall weight is more than 900 tons. Wall and roof panels’ installation is prepared, bridge crane ways are arranged. A part of the process piping is removed from the site, third parties’ transit electric cables will also be put aside. Main building perimeter drainage and utilities are built, the GT, generator and steam turbine condenser is already on the site.

The Vologda HPP CCGT power unit will consist of a General Electric PG 6111FA 77 MW gas turbine, a Kaluga turbine plant 35 MW steam turbine and HRSG by Austrian Energy & Environment. Upon the CCGT power unit installation the HPP electric and heat power output will increase substantially what will permit to lower the Vologda region dependence on power supply from other areas, higher reliability of energy and heat delivery to the population, housing complex and plant facilities and arrange conditions for the Vologda infrastructure development. The Vologda CCGT power unit is built under the OJSC TGK-2 investment program. The facility is planned to be put into operation in 2011.
