First start-up complex is put in operation at Priobskaya GTPP

Being general contractor, CJSC «Intertechelectro» finished construction of the Priobskaya gas turbine power plant first start-up complex for OJSC «NK Rosneft». Its putting in operation will provide reliable power supply of the Priobskoye oilfield production facilities of LLC «RN-Yuganskneftegas» (KMAD), solve associated gas utilization issue and improve considerably regional environmental situation.
Dmitry Medvedev, President of Russia, run the 1st start-up complex. He stressed: «Labor is the main thing that was put in construction of this GT power plant. Moreover, the construction period is really very short. It implies serious preparation before launching the building. Having such stations, and this one being unique, we are solving a number of issues. This is an outstanding example of energy efficiency country-wide because it’s the largest associated gas-fired power plant. Of course, that very task which is concerned with utilization of associated gas is not resolved just with launching this station or even a number of such stations but this is a right step».
The Priobskaya GTPP is constructed as part of implementing a program for introduction of energy- and environment saving technologies of OJSC «NK Rosneft» directed for 95% associated gas utilization. It’s located at 70 km from Khanty-Mansiysk on the left bank part of the Priobskoye oilfield of LLC «RN-Yuganskneftegas». Its operation will not only provide reliable power supply of the Priobskoye oilfield oil and gas production facilities but improve considerably regional environmental situation
135 MW is the 1st start-up complex output. It comprises three Siemens SGT-800 45 MW gas turbine units utilizing associated oil gas. These turbines are distinguished by high efficiency, can be operated in severe climatic conditions and use a wide range of various quality fuels. Totally, the station will have seven such units and its overall capacity after putting the 2nd and 3rd start-up complexes in operation will be 315 MW.
At present the 2nd start-up complex equipment is installed on the site. 110 kV open switchgear is put in operation, power plant main building is constructed, associated gas purification equipment is mounted, auxiliary blocks are built.
