Trans-Urals Enterprises participate in construction of Kurgan CHPP-2

Leading enterprises of Trans-Urals participate in equipment supply and works execution on the Kurgan CHPP-2 site. In particular, OJSC «Kurganhimmash» produced cold water tanks of plate steel for the station needs.
Three 1000 m³ tanks and four 160 m³ tanks will be installed at the station for water storage and collection: direct condensate and softened water.
Vladimir Babyak, General director of CJSC Intertechelectro pointed out: “Despite the fact that the main equipment was made in Czech Republic, the Trans-Urals companies’ input in the station construction may be called considerable already today. In particular, OJSC “Shadrinskiy zavod ograzhdayushih konstrukciy” produced structural steel for the plant main building, LLC «Kurganstroymost» manufactured structural steel for the administrative and auxiliary buildings, “Uralskaya trubnaya kompaniya” supplies piping.
Besides the equipment suppliers, the Kurgan service companies and subcontractor construction organizations take part in the power plant building: «Promstroy», «Energostroyservice», Vvedenskoye DRSU, «Gradostroy», «Yunifom», «Stroykom», «Uralmostostroy», «Energostroyremont», «Gorsibstroy», «Don», «Stalmontazh», «Montazhnoye upravleniye № 78», «Lyubimyi gorod», «Internet technologies» and others.
At present the wall panels and roof of the main building are installed and heat is supplied there, the foundations of the steam turbines and 1st gas turbine are ready, the 2nd gas turbine foundation building is coming to end. The turbine installation on the foundations is launched. The administrative and auxiliary buildings structural steel is mounted, casing is in process. The water heating boilers are being installed; operations on construction of the fan cooling tower pool, coast circulating and make-up water pumping station, gas treatment point are in progress.
