The GT units installation is proceeding at the Noyabrsk CCGT power plant site

The key stage of Noyabrsk CCGTPP construction: the specialists are mounting the main and auxiliary equipment.

Construction is about to complete at the Noyabrsk CCPP site. The next stage is the installation of the major and auxiliary equipment and finishing inside the buildings. In 2008, construction workers are expected to complete the installation activities and get ready for the power plant Unit 1 & 2 startup and commissioning.

The meeting under the chairmanship of Viktor Basargin, Deputy Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the Urals Federal District, was held on March 12 in Yekaterinburg. The meeting participants, among whom there were representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, energy producers and oil-and-gas producing companies, discussed the process of evolvement of the power component of the ‘Ural Industrial – Ural Polar’ Project.

In the first ten-day period of February the first steam turbine will be dismantled and sent to the Noyabrsk Combined-Cycle Power Plant site. The project for its construction is implemented by Intertechelectro – New Generation Group

The first gas turbine designed for Noyabrsk CCGP arrived at the Town of Kogalym by a special flight of Ruslan air liner from St. Petersburg. An almost 100-ton piece of equipment was shipped to the Town of Noyabrsk by a truck train.

A gas turbine and generator weighing 170 tons in total arrived to the Port of St. Petersburg. The equipment designed for Noyabrsk CCGP being constructed by Intertechelectro-New Generation Group of Companies has been supplied from a GE factory in France.

PSG-International will operate as the EPC Contractor for Kurgan HPP-2 Construction Project, i.e., will ensure turnkey construction of a combined cycle generation plant.

Intertechelectro-New Generation Group of Companies has officially started the construction of a new thermal power plant.

During a month of pre-construction operations, a fertile topsoil layer has been finally removed, security guards have been mobilized and information boards installed, a transformer substation has been connected for temporary power supply purposes, onsite excavation is about to finish, and installation of a temporary heat supply line is underway at the construction site.

Pre-construction operations are carried out at the construction site of Kurgan HPP-2 preceding the principal construction stage. At present, a fertile soil layer is cut off and removed, and a fence is installed.

Researchers of the Tyumen State University Research Laboratory for Ecology and Rational Use of Natural Resources in cooperation with executives of <nobr>Intertechelectro-New</nobr> Generation LLC presented an environmental impact assessment research data on Noyabrsk CCGP.

S. B. Zemskov, Deputy Director General of <nobr>Intertechelectro-New</nobr> Generation LLC, Noyabrsk CCGP Project Manager, and S. D. Cherkasov, Executive Director of Noyabrsk CCGP LLC, made Deputy Mayor familiar with the plant construction progress at the site.

This Agreement sets out the fundamental principles of interrelations between the Regional Government and <nobr>Intertechelectro-New</nobr> Generation LLC towards successful implementation of the 220MW and 250GCal combined cycle HPP construction at the Town of Kurgan.

The Agreement provides for the implementation of a list of <nobr>high-priority</nobr> steps towards the construction and renovation of electric power facilities until 2011 in order to prevent a capacity deficit and improve reliability of electric power supplies to consumers of Kurgan Region.
