Power generation
The Noyabrk CCPP has generated the first billion kW/h
06 October 2011
It took 236,58 million m3 of natural gas, supplied by JSC “Gaspromneft”, to generate this amount of electric power. Specific reference fuel consumption amounted to 268,5g of ref. fuel/kWh, which was below the estimate. The average plant output over the operation period equaled 88,5MW. Today the Noyabrsk CCPP provides for 10% of the electric energy and power, consumed in the central area of the Yamal power system. The power plant has been certified for operation in the autumn and winter season of 2011-2012.
The Noyabrsk CCPP is one of the more technically advanced power facilities of its type in Russia and the only generating facility in the Yamal-Nenetz Autonomous District that can offer such performance parameters. The power plant installed electric capacity is 122,6 MW, its thermal output is 95Gcal/hour. Commissioning of the Noyabrsk CCPP has contributed to reduction of the electric power shortage in the Noyabrsk power system and substantially increased the reliability of power supply to the Noyabrsk consumers. The CCPP construction project was implemented by “Intertechelectro – New Generation” Group.
